Fundraising Projects
Altrusa Carroll County funds its community service initiatives through various fundraising efforts. These projects allow us to support local literacy programs, provide essential resources to families in need, and contribute to meaningful causes throughout the county. Below are some of our key fundraising activities:
Special Fundraising Events
- Revo Casino Charity Partnership – Rebels With a Cause
Carroll County Altrusa has been selected as a charity partner for the new Revo Casino in Conway! In New Hampshire, operating casinos and gaming rooms must partner with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and during our designated dates, Altrusa will receive a portion of the casino’s profits.
Have some fun, try your luck, and support a local charity! 🎰💙
Community Partnerships & Events
- Flatbread Company Fundraiser
A percentage of all pizza sales from a designated evening is generously donated to Altrusa, helping fund our service projects. - Cones for a Cause (in partnership with Trail’s End Ice Cream Shop)
A delicious way to give back! A portion of ice cream sales from a dedicated day goes toward supporting our initiatives. - Table at the Tamworth Farmers' Market
Engaging with the community while raising funds through sales and donations at one of the region’s most vibrant markets. - Tri Tek Race Events Volunteer Support
Our members volunteer to distribute water and assist race participants, and in return, Tri Tek Race Events donates to our cause.
Literacy-Focused Fundraising
- Book Bins at Hannaford (North Conway & Ossipee)
Community members donate gently used books, which are sold to raise funds for our literacy and education programs.
Each of these fundraising efforts directly supports our mission to serve the community through literacy, hunger relief, and support services. If you'd like to contribute or get involved, we'd love to hear from you!
