Packing Kindness, Sharing Connections – A Busy Week for Altrusa Carroll County
Altrusa Carroll County members came together for their regular End 68 Hours of Hunger packing and are looking forward to connecting with the community at the MWV Women’s Expo this Sunday at the North Conway Community Center.

There’s something comforting about a routine—especially when that routine makes a difference.
Today, members of Altrusa Carroll County gathered once again for our regular packing shift with End 68 Hours of Hunger / MWV. It's a volunteer tradition that grounds us and reflects the heart of our club's mission: service, community, and connection. We were joined by new members, seasoned members, and a couple of guest volunteers—proof that when many hands come together, the work gets done quickly and joyfully. In less than an hour, we had packed, restocked, and cleaned up.
These food bags will be sent home with local children tomorrow, just in time for the weekend and the snowstorm that’s forecasted. Knowing that we’re helping ensure full bellies through those 68 weekend hours—it’s a simple act that leaves a lasting impact.
💚 It’s a good thing. It makes you feel happy. THINK SPRING!
And speaking of connections…
If you're looking for something to do this Sunday afternoon, March 30th, swing by the North Conway Community Center for the Women’s Expo. It’s a great opportunity to discover local services and programs designed to support women throughout the Mount Washington Valley. Altrusa Carroll County will be there too—so stop by and say hello! We'd love to share more about what we do and how you can get involved with the work we're doing across Carroll County.
Hope to see you there!
