Altrusa got a jump on the week by packing 39 cookie boxes at their February 3rd meeting.
Kindness... This is another great word! Everyone can show a little kindness. Did you know that February 14th through 20th is the official Random Acts of Kindness week? Altrusa got a jump on the week by packing 39 cookie boxes at their February 3rd meeting. Each member made a batch of cookies and then those attending the meeting packed them into boxes. The boxes were sorted by all of the towns that our members come from.. all of the Conways, Bartlett/Intervale, Albany, Madison, Tamworth/Chocorua, Freedom and Ossipee. Cookies were delivered to the town Police department, Fire / Rescue, Public Works, Transfer Station, and Libraries. These are our public servants who are sometimes unsung heroes.
